Undergraduate Students Parking Registration Forms for the Fall 23/24 semester will not be accepted until August 1, 2023.
Any forms submitted before that date will be disregarded. You will need to resubmit your form on or after August 1, 2023.
Graduate Students and Faculty/Staff can submit Parking Registration forms at any time.
Parking Regulations
Campus Public Safety Officers routinely patrol parking lots in order to deter crime and to ensure the safety of you and your vehicle. All students, faculty and staff are prohibited from parking in Fire Lanes, Handicap Spaces unless properly placarded, and all other restricted areas. Officers strictly enforce all parking regulations and in order to avoid fines, you are encouraged to obey all parking rules. At times, you may be required to move your vehicle to another designated area in order to accommodate snow removal or other maintenance concerns.

Parking Permits
Resident Students
A limited number of spaces are available for resident students. A fee of $300 is required to obtain a permit. Parking permits are issued annually on a 'first come first serve' basis as fees are received. When the maximum number of permits has been issued, the University will then maintain a waiting list and issue additional permits when spaces become available. If a permit cannot be issued, the fee will be refunded. The parking fee is $300 per academic year. Please plan carefully, as there will be NO daily, weekly or monthly prorated refunds.
The only refunds that will be approved are those made in January ONLY, providing you change to commuter status or remain a resident student but no longer have a car on campus. In either of these situations, parking pass holders will be refunded 1/2 the cost of your permit providing you return the parking sticker to the Department of Public Safety Administrative Office (in some cases the permits are difficult to remove, but we will accept pieces).
Commuter Students
There is no parking fee for commuting students; however we do need information on file for all vehicles that will be on campus. You do not need a permit if you will not be coming to campus.
All Students
Any vehicle parked on Bay Path University property overnight without an appropriate permit displayed will be ticketed. Bay Path University students will be assessed the fine of their guest.
All permits issued in previous years will be invalid; all cars must have a valid sticker for the 2022/2023 school year. All others will be subject to parking policy and ticketing.
Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff hang tags are issued at the time of employment and remain valid throughout employment.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Permits
If a vehicle is sold or involved in an accident that renders it inoperable, the old permit must be removed and returned to the Public Safety office; a replacement permit will then be issued without additional cost. Lost or stolen permits must be reported to Public Safety immediately.

Parking During Vacations
Students who wish to leave their vehicle on campus over any vacation break or between semesters must contact the Department of Public Safety to make appropriate arrangements. You will be asked to leave your keys and directed where to park your vehicle.
Traffic Regulations
The campus speed limit is 15 miles per hour. Lower speeds may be necessary during certain weather conditions and during peak pedestrian traffic. Vehicles must be operated at reasonable and proper speeds at all times. Drivers are expected to obey all traffic signs, especially during events, when traffic flow may be adjusted.
Violations and Fines
The Department of Public Safety maintains a list of all registered vehicles and violations. If a student receives a third parking violation, a sticker will be affixed stating that the 4th violation will result in fines doubling. Parking privileges will be revoked for the remainder of the academic year for any subsequent violation.
FINES appear on the student’s account and should be paid in the Business Office. Unpaid fines may result in further charges, revocation of parking privileges and withholding of grades, diplomas and transcripts.
Parking Ticket Appeals
Appeal forms are available on the CPS portal and must be received within 14 days of ticket issuance. They will be reviewed upon receipt. A decision will be made by the Director of Public Safety and an email regarding the decision will be sent to the individual.
